Welcome to 10 Things I said WTF to, an edition of WTF that will arrive in your inboxes on the last Monday of each month. It will be a round up of ten things from the ending month that have made me say WTF - all for various reasons, good or bad. Ranging from something minuscule and mundane like a recipe i’m loving, or bigger life issues and chaotic world events. Maybe you’ll discover some new things to try, buy, eat or watch!
This Kelly Osbourne Interview

Kelly Osbourne is known for saying some absolutely unhinged stuff in interviews so you thought by now she’d of hired a good PR team, but clearly not because when I saw this it literally made me groan in despair!!! There are literally so many things wrong with promoting Ozempic, but the worst part is that people all over the world who actually need it for their diabetes can’t even get their prescriptions because of ridiculous people like Kelly Osbourne. I cannot comprehend how out of touch she seems in this interview like please girl go outside and touch some grass!!! I would never usually comment on peoples appearances but Ozempic face is real - and its terrifying.
Nose Piercings
When I was 15 my mum promised me that if I passed my English GCSE early she’d take me to get my nose pierced. This was very exciting because English was literally the only subject I wasn’t going to royally fuck up, and look at me now! Writing my own newsletter where I reference pictures of early 2000’s Nicole Richie and talk about anything from audio porn to leg warmers. Anyway - the pass was achieved and here I am 10 years later still with said nose piercing. I honestly barely notice it anymore but when looking in the mirror the other day I did wonder to myself, when do I take this out? When do we reach the age where we say goodbye to the Claire’s accessories gold hoop thats been with us for years and years? It’s been a constant throughout so many periods of my life and I have no idea when it’ll feel right to get rid of it. If anyone’s recently decided to take theirs out, please let me know what was the final straw!!
Hosting @ Ganni 2.0
I put ‘Collaborate with Ganni’ on a vision board for the first ever edition of WTF, then I actually did it and chatted about how much I couldn’t believe it in this newsletter and this newsletter. Well, it happened again! On the 15th of February Polly and I hosted a Galentines themed evening at Ganni in Soho with natural wine and heart shaped confectionary in abundance. I got to wear this insane pinstripe suit jacket and skirt, and these mary jane’s that i’ve been obsessed with for months and months. It was amazing and perfect and thank you to anyone and everyone who came, getting to work with my dream brand twice within 6 months is ridiculously exciting.
Itsu Broth
So my boyfriend is the chef in our household and since living together I’ve basically forgotten how to cook, but he also goes away for work a lot so I’m quite often left to my own devices. After a full day at work I simply CBA to cook anything extravagant (or wash up) and my Deliveroo habits were getting out of hand, until I discovered the Itsu broth!!! Half a carton of the above, chuck in whatever veggies and noodles you want and it’s done. This has literally saved me so many evenings and I also highly recommend the miso version.
Taylor Swift
Preparing for some Swifties to unsubscribe after this, but I’m just telling you what’s been on my mind a lot this month, which is Taylor Swift and her fans. My brain simply cannot comprehend how one person can be so famous and be literally everywhere all at once, it’s kind of terrifying? I’m not even a proper* fan of hers yet my TikTok feed tells me anything and everything I need to know about her every single day. I can’t help but feel as if the way some people idolise her so intensely just isn’t healthy, fans will go to the ends of the earth to defend everything she does as if she isn’t just a regular person who also makes mistakes. Also, in all honesty, something feels off about her and Travis Kelce. It’s almost too public and I think we often forget how common PR relationships are in Hollywood… but maybe I’m wrong!! Who knows? And finally, I just wish she would find a new stylist for her red carpet appearances because they are so disappointing every single time, especially for someone who could literally dig into any archive and wear anything she wanted.
*I love Taylor Swift, Fearless and Speak Now for a car journey but thats the extent of my swiftie-ness
Miu Miu Boat Shoes
I honestly think they are kinda ugly, but why don’t I hate them? & why do I want a pair? I cannot expand any further as I don’t even know the answers to those questions. But I keep thinking about them.
Never Getting Good Sonny Angels
We have one shop in Brighton that sells Sonny Angels and I simply cannot walk by and resist the temptation, something just drags me in and I always leave with one. Even though they’re now £16.50?! But the thing is, I literally never get any of the ones I want. I dont think out of the 6 I have, I’ve ever looked at the box and thought “Oh I love that one”. I’m disappointed every time, but the excitement that one day I could get a Bok Choy or a Shiba Inu keeps me buying them!! Sonny Angels are quite literally the equivalent of gambling on football or horses for the girlies.
People Comparing Quinn to Porn Hub
*If you aren’t familiar with Quinn, then I recommend reading number 7 on this previous newsletter which really breaks it down for you.
If you follow Quinn on TikTok you will know most of their videos show their marketing team listening to audio erotica through branded pink headphones while doing their daily tasks - shopping, washing, working etc. Then when you delve into the comments on any Quinn audio you’ll discover that this is quite common, and women are spicing up their mundane days by listening to erotic stories and audios. I recently read an article debating how the severe rise in women listening to audio porn was any different to men constantly watching porn on any website such as PornHub, and it honestly made me so angry.
Women have dealt with men watching porn for years and don’t get me wrong - there’s nothing wrong with some porn, if it’s ethical and you can maintain a healthy relationship with it. But this just isn’t the case for most readily available porn, and a lot of men aren’t watching it with the right mindset. They’re watching women be exploited and portray an unrealistic image of what sex is, which translates into their own sex lives where they assume women can orgasm within about five seconds of penetration.
Most porn is not tailored to women, and doesn’t put women’s needs and wants at the forefront of the action. Unlike audio erotica, which is tailored to what women actually like and leaves a lot open to interpretation/imagination. It’s also made by voice actors who are of age, and thoroughly vetted by the companies to make sure their work is ethical and consensual. Women love audio porn because it gives them the experiences they often aren’t having IRL, and the reason they aren’t having these experiences is because porn is teaching men how to have sex, badly. So yes I would argue it is vastly different, and any outlet arguing otherwise is probably some incel who doesn’t want women to actually start voicing what they want in the bedroom.
One Day
Because I’ve read One Day and watched the original film, I didn’t expect this series to shock me or make me as emotional as it did. I was basically crying from episode one, and it didn’t stop! My boyfriend had never seen the film so I was basically on edge the whole time waiting for that scene which after 14 episodes felt like an eternity. I think it definitely did the film and story justice and I absolutely adored the casting!
Rayas Collective
I am a sucker for a market bag, they’re the perfect fun alternative to any tote and so useful for day to day, taking to the beach or for storage at home. Recently I came across Rayas Collective, a sister owned brand who create amazing market bags, all hand crafted in El Salvador by a small female led team. The brand was born after a trip to El Salvador inspired Luisa & Consuelo to share the work of the talented artisans who live and create there. I absolutely love the colour combo’s they use and even better - you can get custom initial charms added to your bags, which is just such a cute finishing touch. These are 100% the bag of SS24 for me! This one and this one are my personal favourites.
One Day absolutely wrecked me. I’ve had to take to the internet afterwards to find emotional support groups. I hadn’t read the book or seen the movie, and had no idea what I was getting myself into. I’m not sure if that made it better or worse, but I thought it was so well done—worth the heartbreak.
