Sandy Liang FW25
I know I always include Sandy’s shows in these newsletters but how can I not?! Every single season they just get better and better, and FW25 was no exception. Her collections always feel nostalgic and girly in the best way, yet this time around it was on another level. It was almost impossible to choose my favourite looks but somehow I narrowed it down to these three! The striped knit with another miniature striped knit sewn on?! Insane! The fuzzy green skirt? Too cute. Don’t even get me started on the cluster of rosette’s because I’m already planning the DIY! Last but not least, the insane dress below.
Absolutely no words for this, but I will be doing everything in my power to get my hands on it for my wedding!!
Making My Own Coffee/Matcha Syrups
My coffee order for years and years was an iced coconut latte with caramel syrup - which basically tasted nothing like coffee. Slowly over time I transitioned to iced oat with caramel, and then to a classic iced oat latte. Syrups suddenly started tasting so artificial and sickly that I decided to just stop getting them (especially when it’s an extra 50p?!). This was until I was in LA last year and visited Alfred, they do a signature vanilla bean iced latte and something about it drew me in!! I ended up getting it an insane amount of times on that trip and came home desperate to find syrups that tasted more ‘real’, and weren’t just full of crap.
Then I saw a TikTok of a girl making her own and didn’t realise just how easy it was, so I immediately ran downstairs to try it out for myself! It was brown sugar and cinnamon flavoured and I even filmed the whole thing just to prove how quick and simple it was! Since then I’ve been trying out new recipes almost every week - plain vanilla, blueberry etc.
Build-a-Bear Cuddly Cougar
This came up as an ad on Instagram and I was so confused?!?!?! Which then led to me browsing the ‘After Dark’ Build-a-bear collection - which I will let you see for yourself. Honestly, she’s kind of iconic?
