Welcome to 10 Things I Said WTF to, my end of month round-up newsletter of 10 things I’ve said WTF to over the past four weeks. Ranging from good to bad, to absolute nonsense °˖✧˚ʚ♡ɞ˚✧˖°
Men
Last week I re-posted this TikTok onto the WTF Instagram because I thought it was absolutely iconic, not anticipating that it would blow up and reach almost 1 million views (that’s currently…it’s still going somehow). I don’t ever really scroll through or post reels on my own account because in my mind that part of Instagram is purely for angry Facebook mums. But annoyingly you can’t just post a regular video anymore, it has to be a reel - which opens you up to the possibility of anyone stumbling across it. Obviously anyone can access any social media video, but the Reels demographic is very different to TikTok and I didn’t really even consider that before reposting it.
I’ve never had any post go “viral” before, and honestly nothing could’ve prepared me for the amount of comments. Every single morning since I’ve woken up to endless notifications like this…

But also some like this…
I’d go as far to say all women have experienced misogynistic behaviour before, but I’ve never experienced it on this scale. There was almost 600 comments on this (before I turned them off…which is something I’ll get to later) and 90% of them were just abuse coming from men. I honestly can’t believe we live in a world where a man would threaten to set a woman on fire simply for having pubes - like isn’t that insane and terrifying? Yet, sadly not surprising at all.
I have no issue sticking up for myself or other women when faced with misogynistic behaviour, but after a couple of days these comments just started absolutely draining me and I couldn’t keep up with it. So I turned them off, which lead to even more men messaging me and commenting on other posts asking why I’d turned them off. Which further proves that men will literally do anything just to be awful to women in any way they can, which is terrifying.
This Newsletter
No other newsletter has ever made me laugh like this one did, I can’t recommend it enough.
