I used to be a jeans girly through and through, until I entered my twenties, went on antidepressants and gained two dress sizes plus hips. When I was a teenager working in retail I never understood why women in their 20’s and 30’s would come in and complain about how much they hated buying jeans - and now I totally get it. Finding a pair that fit the waist to hip ratio, aren’t dragging on the ground, don’t have that weird gap at your lower back and are actually comfy to wear all day, is near enough impossible.
So over the past year or so I’ve become a huge advocate for joggers and track pants. I briefly went through a phase of this at uni when the whole like ‘Missguided minimal sports luxe’ thing was very in, but in reality I just wore them to be hungover at lectures, not trendy.
