You may be familiar with the ‘75 Hard’ challenge, created by Andy Frisella, which he coins a “transformative mental toughness programme”. This consists of following 5 rules every single day for 75 days, and if you break one, you have to go back and start the 75 days again. The rules are to stick to a diet (any diet apparently?), complete two 45 minute workouts each day (one outdoors), drink a gallon of water a day, read 10 pages of non-fiction and take progress pictures.
But before you panic - no, we aren’t going to be trying this out. WTF hasn’t suddenly transformed into a fitness bro newsletter, and personally this challenge sounds like something i’d fail immediately. I didn’t leave my house till 1:30pm today and the first thing I ingested was a cheese straw plus i’m already onto my second iced coffee of the day (yet, shamefully, haven’t drank any water).
Analyst, writer & influencer Mandy Lee (@oldloserinbrooklyn) has flipped the challenge on it’s head and rewritten the rules for the fashion girlies. Naming it the ‘75 Hard Style Challenge’ and daring us all to dig into our wardrobes and get back in touch with our personal style. The new rules are as follows…
