Back in February I wrote this newsletter discussing how I was planning to partake in the ‘75 Hard Style’ challenge, created by Mandy Lee. To quickly summarise - you have to get dressed every day for 75 days, document your outfits daily and not shop, in an attempt to connect with your personal style and wardrobe. I set myself a few exceptions, one being that I would document every day that I did get dressed, but that I wouldn’t get dressed every single day. Because I work in retail, getting dressed is part of my work, and on my days off I sometimes need to just be in my pyjamas. The other exception was that any clothes I was (very luckily) gifted through my work or freelance opportunities, didn’t count as shopping. Because I didn’t document every single day, the challenge took a little bit longer than planned, but I’m finally back with the results!
*Also links to almost every single thing I wore are at the bottom of this newsletter!
So, after the first week or so of documenting my outfits I realised a few things that may of put a slight spanner in the works.
